I am a talented and passionate writer with over ten years experience in Technical Writing and over 20 years in Information Technology. I am currently based in Sydney, Australia.

I have worked as a Data Processing Operator, Mainframe Computer Operator and Relational Database Developer and have always written procedures and other documentation in all my roles.

I have worked with a wide range of clients in a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, legal accounting, telecommunications and GIS mapping to name a few. I am adaptable and quick to learn new systems and become familiar with different environments. This ability has helped me become a successful and sought after Technical Writer.

I enjoy the challenge of converting technical documents to clear and concise instructions written in plain English that can be understood by my readers, regardless of their level of technical expertise.

I have always been interested in the Internet and have been designing, building and maintaining web sites for the past few years. As a consequence, I am an experienced web content writer with great design and HTML skills. I also have experience with Search Engine Optimisation.

As a contractor, I am always on the look out for jobs where I can indulge my passion for writing, use my editing and proof reading skills or my creativity writing training courses or web site content. I would love the opportunity to live and work overseas, especially, the USA where I am eligible for an E-3 visa, if I can find a company to sponsor me.
